Seth Kadish is a founding partner at Kadish D’Souza LLP.
Seth obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree from York University in 2005. He then attended Law School at the University of Western Ontario, graduating in 2008. Seth was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2009. Prior to co-founding Kadish D’Souza LLP, Seth worked for 2 boutique Personal Injury Law firms where he gained invaluable experience.
Seth focuses his practice on Long-Term and Short-Term Disability Claims, Motor Vehicle accident Claims, Slip and Fall Claims, and other types of personal injury and insurance related claims. Seth has appeared at various levels inclusive of the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the License Appeal Tribunal and the Superior Court of Justice. Seth is a member of the law Society of Ontario and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. In his spare time, Seth enjoys travelling, staying active, and spending time with his wife and three children.
Nigel D’Souza is a founding partner at Kadish D’Souza LLP.
Nigel graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2010 and has been practicing Civil Litigation since his call to the Bar in 2011. Nigel was a lawyer at a renowned Disability/Personal Injury Law firm for almost 12 years.
Nigel D’Souza specializes in cases where individuals have suffered serious injuries such as a traumatic brain injury, fractures, spinal cord injury, psychological impairment, neurological trauma, orthopaedic injury, chronic pain and catastrophic impairment. Nigel advocates on behalf of injured victims for their motor vehicle accident case (accident benefits claim and tort litigation), slip and fall, long term disability denial, and wrongful dismissal case. Nigel takes pride in holding insurance companies accountable, advocating for appropriate compensation on behalf of his clients and educating his clients on the legal process.
Nigel has appeared at various levels inclusive of the License Appeal Tribunal and the Ontario Superior Court. Nigel is a member of the law Society of Upper Canada and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. In his spare time, Nigel enjoys travelling, staying active, maintaining his numerous hobbies, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Mehula Vats is an Associate Lawyer at Kadish D’Souza LLP, focusing on personal injury and civil litigation. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (B.A.LL.B) from the Army Institute of Law in India in 2022. Following her graduation, she completed a Global Professionals Master of Laws (GPLLM) at the University of Toronto in 2023. Mehula was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024.
Prior to joining Kadish D’Souza LLP, Mehula articled with a boutique civil litigation firm, where she handled slip and fall claims, motor vehicle accident cases, and general civil litigation matters. Her experience has provided her with a solid foundation in litigation, including drafting various case materials as well as representing clients in court hearings across various jurisdictions.
Beyond her legal practice, Mehula is deeply committed to social justice. She has volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, assisting LGBTQIA+ refugees seeking refuge in Canada. Her dedication to community service underscores her belief in using legal expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Mehula enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with friends.
